Stainless steel SS316 tubes can be used in different applications such as medium to long term usage, and indoor and outdoor activities. It is considered as an industry standard for offshore oil and gas as well as refinery industry.The material used is SS316 /TP316 and SS316L /TP316L. Stainless steel SS316 /316L tubes meet ASTM A213/A269 standards. The material of stainless steel SS316 tubes guarantees durability, ductility, and hardness. The length of stainless steel SS316 tube is 6m long. Each meter is marked with information about the tube such as outer diameter size, standard, and thickness. Stainless steel SS316 tubes have different finishing. The type of finishing depends on the intended project or equipment. The available finishing is annealed and pickled (seamless, matt surface), polished 320 grit, and bright annealed.The difference between SS316 tube and SS316L tube lies in the welding decision. If the tubes will be welded, it is recommended to use SS316L tube because low carbon tube will be more ductile and have a higher resistant to corrosion after welding.It is recommended to bend hydraulic tubes at a radius of 3x of the external tube outer diameter. Do refer below for hydraulic tube installation:Cut the tube using a wheel cutter or mechanically.Bend the tube using a hydraulic tube bender or do it manually.Weld the tube.Install the tube with other hydraulic components. Additionally, you can also use a pipe clamp to reduce fluid vibration within the tube, given that there is clarification on the piping sequence.
