This semi-rigid, non-toxic tubing is suitable for the transfer of corrosive or ultra-pure liquids. It is made of PEEK (polyetheretherketone) which resists chemicals and water absorption. It is impact resistant and effective in high temperatures. It has a tensile strength of 13,300 pounds per square inch (psi), a dielectric strength of 500 volts per mil (V/mil), and a Shore D Hardness rating of 85 for resistance to abrasion. It has a maximum operating temperature of 485 degrees F and a maximum working pressure of 5,000 psi. This tan tubing is gamma, ETO, and steam sterilizable for repeated use and is suitable for chemical, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor applications, among others.Plastic tubing is used to transfer liquids, air, or solids, and it is characterized by a round, rectangular, or square shape and a hollow center.
